Chelsea is a Chicago based performer & instructor. She has appeared on stages across the city. She’s trained at the Second City Training Center Conservatory and is a proud Black Box Academy graduate where she gained the family of a lifetime. Chelsea has most recently worked with Chimera Ensemble, Northlight Theatre, & Artitext. She is passionate about new works and ensemble works, especially those that amplify the female voice. Before moving to Chicago, Chelsea received her bachelors in Theatre Arts and Communication Studies from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee, Go Vols! While at UT she found a dance home with the BOSS Dance Company and served as the President of the Dance Society, which served to keep dance alive on campus. Chelsea also performed in numerous productions at the Clarence Brown Theatre.
When Chelsea isn’t performing she loves empowering others through movement. She attributes all of her calm and mental capacity to yoga and strength training. Sharing this practice with the Chicago community and everywhere virtually brings her so much joy. Take class with me!

I was first introduced to yoga growing up as a dancer. It often angered me, the pause, the breath, the settling, it was not the physicality I was used to. When I moved to Chicago, I stumbled into a yoga studio as a means to find community and I found that and much more. I discovered that my anxiety riddled brain needed this practice and my spirit found connection to something higher than myself. I unlearned A LOT of lessons I had taken to heart about my body through my practice of dance. The gifts I've gained through this practice have empowered me and I'm astounded at the chance to share that with you everytime I walk into a studio and/or press that record button.
I found strength training through my work as a Rehabilitian Technician at Balanced Flow Wellness. I observed countless patience discover great movement potential and longevity through lifting heavy things. My motto with resistance training is to train heavy so the heaviness of life's daily tasks isn't as great of a load. Mentally and physically.
My goal as a teacher and your guide is to empower you beyond what you've been told is possible, both by your own voice and others. To broaden your horizons. Make you feel safe and connected to yourself. My wish is that this begins a journey of self discovery for you and instills an empowered attitude towards growth.

I offer private sessions to individuals and groups, in person and remotely via Zoom. Private instruction allows you to receive personalized attention and specialized functional movement that helps you meet your physical and mental goals. The sky is the limit.
